What this service is

Marriage Crisis Plan provides coaching and education. It is operated by Colt Waagner.

The founding offer is the Marriage Crisis Planning Session for Husbands: a review of your application before payment, a fuller intake after acceptance, one private planning session of 75 to 90 minutes, identification of three actions to take and three behaviors to stop, guidance for the first 72 hours, a personalized seven-day plan, a personalized 30-day plan, a written summary within 24 hours, and one 15-minute follow-up about a week later.

What this service is not

It is not therapy, psychotherapy, counseling in the licensed sense, psychological or medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, crisis or emergency care, or legal advice or representation.

Colt Waagner is a coach with a ministry background and graduate training in counseling. He is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or licensed professional counselor, and he does not practice mental-health counseling. Ministry experience and being partway through a counseling degree are not a license and are not presented as one. Nothing here creates a therapist–client or attorney–client relationship, and no legal privilege applies.

What is sold here is a planning session: working out what is happening, what to stop doing, and what to do over the next thirty days. It is not assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of any mental-health condition, and it is not offered as a substitute for any of those.

If you need clinical care, a lawyer, or emergency help, that is what you should get. Coaching can sit alongside those. It does not replace any of them.

Applying, acceptance, and payment

  • Applying is free and does not guarantee acceptance.
  • Colt personally reviews each complete application before any payment link is sent.
  • Payment is requested only after acceptance, by a private link sent directly to you. There is no public checkout on this website.
  • The founding price is $197, limited to five founding sessions. Pricing after that may change.

The guarantee

By the end of the session, you will be able to identify your next three actions and the three behaviors you need to stop. If you cannot, Colt will continue working with you for up to 30 additional minutes at no charge. If you still do not have a clear plan, he will refund your payment in full.

How it is claimed, so there is nothing to argue about later:

  • You decide. If you say at the end of the session that you cannot name your three actions and three stops, that is the answer. Colt does not get to overrule you.
  • Say so before the session ends, or within 48 hours of receiving your written summary. That is the whole condition.
  • The refund is the full $197, returned by the same method you paid, normally within five business days.
  • You keep anything already sent to you.

This guarantee is about the clarity of the plan. It is not a guarantee of reconciliation, it does not prevent or affect a divorce, and it promises nothing about how your wife will think, feel, or act.

If the session cannot responsibly be delivered

If information disclosed after payment shows that the standard coaching session cannot responsibly be delivered due to safety, legality or similar concerns, Colt may stop the process, refund the payment, and direct the client toward more appropriate help.

What is not promised

No outcome is guaranteed. Nobody can guarantee that a marriage will be saved, that a separation or divorce will stop, or that another adult will change her mind. You cannot control your wife's decision. What this work is for is helping you stop making fear-driven mistakes, become steady and clear, improve how you show up, and give the marriage its strongest honest chance.

This service will not provide techniques intended to pressure, manipulate, monitor, or override the decisions of another person, and will not help anyone do so.

Legal restrictions and court orders

All protective orders, no-contact orders, custody orders, court orders and other legal restrictions must be obeyed in full. Marriage Crisis Plan cannot give legal advice and will not assist anyone in circumventing an order. Guidance is adapted to whatever restrictions exist, and focuses on lawful conduct and what you can control. Questions about what an order permits belong with your lawyer.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate information. The plan is only as good as what you tell him.
  • Decisions and actions are yours. You remain responsible for what you choose to do.
  • Respect your wife's boundaries, her agency, and the law.
  • Get emergency, legal, or clinical help when it is needed.

If you change your mind

Circumstances change fast in a marriage crisis, and the terms should say what happens.

  • Before the session: tell Colt you no longer want it and you get a full refund, whatever the reason and however close to the appointment. No explanation required.
  • After the session: the guarantee above is the route.
  • If you go quiet: if you do not attend and do not reply, Colt will follow up at least twice over 30 days. If there is still no contact after that, the session is treated as delivered and no refund is owed — but write to him even after that and he will look at it.

Scheduling and rescheduling

Sessions are scheduled by agreement. If you need to move a session, say so as early as you reasonably can and it will be moved.

Emails

Applying is not subscribing. Submitting an application is not consent to a promotional email sequence. Colt will still email you about your own application, payment, appointment and session, because that is how the service is delivered.

Marketing email only goes to people who ticked the optional box on the application, or who signed up separately. It is unchecked by default, ticking it has no effect on whether you are accepted, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect anything you have bought.

Your materials

Your written plan and summary are for you. Coaching materials, templates, and content on this site remain the property of Marriage Crisis Plan and are not for redistribution or resale.

Ending the engagement

Either party may end the engagement. Where Colt ends it because the work cannot responsibly continue, the policy above on refunds applies.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marriage Crisis Plan's total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Two things this does not do. It does not limit or exclude liability for gross negligence, intentional wrongdoing, physical injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited in advance. And it does not cut across the guarantee above — the guarantee is a promise deliberately made, and it stands.

Apart from the guarantee, the service is provided as described and without any promise of a particular outcome in the marriage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

If you are a consumer somewhere else, this clause does not take away any right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection law of the place you live, and it does not stop you bringing a claim there if the law of your home lets you.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms in force when you paid are the ones that apply to your session.
